May Donation Creation: Benefiting The Ridges Sanctuary

This month’s Donation Creation features slow cooked beef brisket, grilled local ramps, grilled yellow peppers, King trumpets, roasted garlic potatoes, smoked Gouda, house made O’so Brewing Milkstache BBQ and is finished with beauty heart radishes. It benefits our friends at The Ridges Sanctuary.

The Ridges Sanctuary is one of Door County’s greatest natural assets. Founded in 1937, the 1600-acre property was Wisconsin’s first land trust.

Located in Baileys Harbor, the Sanctuary is home to nearly 500 different species of plants, including 25 species of native orchids, 60 species of breeding birds and 12 threatened or endangered species, including the federally endangered Hine’s Emerald Dragonfly.

Plus, not only can you eat with the satisfaction that a dollar of your pizza order will go to support this amazing organization, The Ridges is giving away a complimentary, 90 minute naturalist-guided hike to anyone who purchases a pizza of either size. This is the best way to experience The Ridges and an $8 value.

Their inclusion in the Donation Creation just happens to coincide with the 14th Annual Door County Festival of Nature, a three day festival featuring field trips, classes and activities hosted by the areas leading conservation organizations.
